VodaShop Service up the Creek

Posted by: jebbx on: May 12, 2008

My wife and I went to the Vincent Park Vodashop on the 1st of May to change her details into her married name and upgrade her contract from a TopUp to a Weekender. The gentlemen that assisted us was helpful, efficient and we left knowing that her name would be changed, that the contract would [...]

In Response to a God of Justice

Posted by: jebbx on: February 16, 2008

This is in response to letter to our local newspaper, which can be found here. This seems to be a somewhat typical letter of religious intolerance in the local area of the Eastern Cape. It is not entirely surprising that the author does not give their name, but instead calls themself “Celibate by the Grace [...]

This is a first

Posted by: jebbx on: January 18, 2008

I’m sitting in the East London airport, waiting for an emergency flight out to Johannesburg so that I can spend the next four days trying to recover the companies domain controller. The outsourced technician that we have at the head office has been working on the server for two days, no luck thus far. This [...]

It’s alive!

Posted by: jebbx on: June 29, 2007

It has been a long time since I’ve posted here and the primary reason has been one of time constraint. Work has simply just been over the wall, and in the evenings I would rather spend my time with family and loved ones. However, I am under the belief that this will soon come to [...]

Welcome to the Suck

Posted by: jebbx on: April 25, 2007

It’s amazing how a good week can turn into a nightmare so quickly, where everyone that you care for is suddenly so depressed, and there seems little reason to carry on. Azael’s having issues with his work, who are a bunch of idiots, and now I here that Bunny is being moved from her Office [...]

Gauteng versus the Eastern Cape

Posted by: jebbx on: February 6, 2007

As I have posted before I have started a new job. New is not quite the right word to describe it though, as the building is new, the people new, the furniture, everything, and half of it is still to come. Regardless, this does mean that I have been tasked with specifying and quoting on [...]

The Photo

I’ve been convinced to drop a picture of myself, Crazy Bunny my wife and The Dog. I’m blessed in more ways than I know I guess.

I r da married

Posted by: jebbx on: November 9, 2006

I must admit that I have never been happier than I currently am. There’s a lot wrong in my life at the moment, massive loss of faith and enjoyment of my job, a constant groaning inside my head about the state of the world and my country, and immeasurable dissatisfaction with the progress in my [...]

The Return

Posted by: jebbx on: September 5, 2006

Okay so I haven’t updated this thing in ages, and that’s a really piss poor effort on my part. I’ll start making regular updates from this point on, as things at work are starting to normalise.
I’ve been put in charge of the IT department and there have been a few more than just a little [...]

Now that’s a burger!

Posted by: jebbx on: August 24, 2006

Last night CrazyBunny, Azrael the Azazul and Mookity (W00kata!) went to the Inkwenkwezi Game Reserve for their Wednesday night burger special, which, as the lady seating us said, “You can have any burger you want, but we don’t make small burgers.”
And they mean it when they do not make small burgers:

My ramblings, idiocies, nerfings, frothings, and occassionaly display of intellectualism... I said occasional, right?
