So one of the Health and Fitness Blogs that I meander (and I do mean
meander) past occassionaly, http://getfitsource.blogware.com/, has this
article about losing weight.
Now some of you that know me know that I’ve been working hard at getting
rid of my little Buddah (or in my case, BIG Buddah) syndrome. The site
above says that one is not serious about losing weight if one is still
consuming fizzy cooldrinks, like Coke.
I suppose that’s true enough, but what irks me is that they then go on
to say that each can has about 160 calories and having one a day will
put on 16lbs (7.1kg’s) of weight in a year.
That’s a touch misleading isn’t it? Doesn’t that mean that in the last
10 months I should have put on 14 kilograms instead of losing 10kg’s?
Anyone who knows me knows my thoughts and feelings about diets. They’re
stupid and 99% of the time do NOT work! Me, I believe in moderation and
balance. Diet is an evil word. Exercise is good for you. Now go – do
