Now this will absolutely rock! Jet Li (if you don’t know who he is, you
don’t watch kung-fu movies, but he was in Die HArd 4, The One, Danny the
Dog a.k.a. Unleashed and a host of others) and Jason Stathem (Snatch,
Transporter, The One) are set to team up again, and this time they may
even go toe to toe.

There’ some disturbing news that Jet Li won’t do anymore kung-fu movies,
but hopefully, like is says in the article it’s just a misunderstanding.

Jet Li rocks. This man is a god when it comes to the style and art of
kung-fu. If you drop the films wherein most of the action is wire based,
and actually just watch this man’s style, wow, you’ll be blown away.
Bruce Lee may have made martial arts films popular, but Jet Li gives it
style and class, Jackie Chan makes it funny, and you can wonder how he
manages to move up and down buildings like that, but Jet Li is in a
class of his own.

Can’t wait for this film.

Oh, if you haven’t watched Danny the Dog (a.k.a. Unleashed) – do so. Jet
Li shows off some acting ability and is utterly brutal in the fight
scenes. And I do mean BRUTAL.

Don’t you mean Lethal Weapon 4 (DH4 is still in pre-production).

Unless of course you have yourself a DeLorean and 1.21 Gigawatts.

Danny the Dog was an exceptional movie but I think its time for the man to call it quiets on the Kung Fu and focus more on serious film, or do more things like Hero. Possible the best film I have seen to date.
